Control - Flight - SwashplateOverview:
A swashplate is located at the top of each mast, just below the rotor hub. There are three control rods per mast; two per mast for lateral cyclic and one per mast for longitudinal cyclic. The combined movement of all three rods accomplishes the collective action.
