SynchroLite ~ Rotor - Hub - 2-blade - Absolutely Rigid Rotor

This will not work

Objective:

To provide a rotorcraft with two rotors that have only 2-blades each, and has strong controllability.

To minimize the 2/P vibration that would normally result from ARR 2-blade rotors.

Features:

The 2-blade rotors have the aerodynamic efficientcy of fewer blades per rotor.

Reduced V-angle as compared to 2-blade teetering and CVJw/HS due to the high rigidity of the rotors.

Closer coupling between rotor and fuselage than 2-blade teetering and CVJw/HS.

Is a building block to the UniCopter.

Required Attributes:

Individual blade control w/ control higher than 1P.

'Absolutely' Rigid Rotor

Extreme amount of computer programming. Perhaps toooo much.

Eventually, Independent Root and Tip Control

Questions:

Will induced drag be proportional to thrust.

Will the profile drag be laterally symmetrical during forward flight?

The rotors will probably have to be computer controlled.

Look for any existing Patents.

Is this to be a SynchroLite or a UniCopter? Probably the SynchroLite because with 2-blade rotors and low disk loading it is not meant to be fast.

Lateral symmetry. No tail rotor.

Enhanced control. Hub-spring - absolutely rigid rotor

Light weight. May weigh less than 254 lbs.

Wide chord - low speed rotor speed - large pre-cone angle.
