SynchroLite ~ Power Train (for 1 engine) - Frame

Preliminary Note:

The frame may be a triangulated shape going up to the mast's top bearings, or it might just be a means of attaching the engine to the gearbox.

Concerns:

The frame for the single engine is not triangulated like the frame for the 2-engine is and this means that there will be torsional rotation of the mast-pair about the drive on the z-axis.

Should the upper bearings, just under the swashplate be firmly connected to the drive-frame or not. If attached, will the different expansion rates of the mast and braces etc. may cause problems.

If the mast has a large diameter and the two bearings on either side of the crown are far apart they will give good bracing to the upper portion of the mast but they may not hold the crown gear well enough.
