Lithium-Polymer-batteries

-Lithium-Polymer-Batteries using their newest production technology. The batteries can be used under high load, this high quality product is achieved by careful matching and balancing. The 5s3p-batteries are equipped with 15 individual two pole connectors ("Tanic tabs") to each cell. So measuring or balancing is always possible. The 6s3p-packs are equipped with 6 connectors for balancing. For the Joker models two 5s3p packs, connected in series, are necessary, the Joker 2 can also be used with two 6s3p-packs (2x 6s3p only in combination with Schulze 40/160H). The sets are delivered in a strong steel case. All sets include connector cables for balancers and a detailed manual.

Plettenberg shows 8 - 12 LiPo cells on their HP 370/40 Heli pages.
It appears that lithium polymer batteries are 3.7 V per cell.
Lithium polymer batteries must be discharged before recharging.
Lithium polymer batteries can only be charged <50 times.

For balance the batteries should probably be located at the front of the fuselage.

Idea: Have 2 or 3 battery packs where all but 1 pack can be ejected, if required to increase the endurance time of the flight.

Will it be possible to get more power out of non-rechargeable batteries.

If the danger of falling batteries is a problem then a light silk parachute could be part of the battery pack.

Capacitors:

The two booms, the HS and the VS might use capacitors as a replacement for foam of honeycomb cores.
