Power Train - LubricationOverview:
Oil is drawn from the Synchro box, at the base of the masts, and inserted at the port and starboard bearing housings that are located just below each swashplate. An aluminum tube extends down from these bearing housing to the lower bearing housings. These 2 tubes, in addition to being a structural member of the drive train, also act as oil coolers.
If a hydraulic rotor governor is used then consider using a common pump for both functions.
If
Power Train - 1 Engine - Assembly - Belt Primary & 4 Gears - Idea 10 is used, then just use splash lubrication![]()
