Electrotor-SloMo ~ Rotor Aerodynamic one

Overview:

Drawing:

This drawing is current for all configurations.

This drawing is from OTHER: Helicopter - Inside - Principal Assembly - ELECTROTOR-SloMo (Backpack, Ultralight & UAV)

All the following drawings are obsolete

For Side-by-Side and Interleaving Configurations:

Re gyroscopic precession ~ only the rotors are revolving, not the stators.

This arraignment will not be viable for the Intermeshing configuration due to its high and large diameter.

 Drawings:

For Intermeshing Configuration:

If the actual blade starts out further (ie. the spar goes out beyond the other hub) then from the above picture it looks like; 1/ the motor can be moved up higher on the rotorhub, 2/ the hubs can be moved closer together, 3/ the V angle can be reduced.

This is the current choice:

Not that the motor's rotors are 'geared' together for synchronization.

The drawing below allows for a static mast and the control rods to go down inside this mast.

A possibly better alternative is to attach the blade grips to the motor's rotor, as per drawing #2 above, and reduce the diameter of the motor by having multiple axial flux rotors and stators or a deep radial flux motor with a smaller diameter. This will probably require electric pitch control devices located at the root of the blades.
