The Objective:

A VTOL aircraft that is aerodynamically superior to other existing and proposed craft. This is due to the generation of a low velocity thrust from a large disk area during hover and a high velocity thrust from a small disk area during cruise.

To aerodynamically reduce the EFFECTIVE total disk area of the PropRotors in cruise by 50% from their PHYSICAL total disk area in hover. Thereby creating a PropRotor VTOL craft that has;

A greater figure of merit in hover then current tilt-rotors, and
A faster speed and greater efficiency in cruise then current tilt-rotors.
