DESIGN: Electrotor-SloMo - Rotorhead - Synchronization - Motor-Generator

Ask on Eng-Tips about the ability to achieve very rapid cycling between motor and generator.

Regeneration

Objective:

To sense the azimuthual relationship of the two rotors at a rate of approximately 120 times per second. Then cause the leading rotor to act as a temporary generator (to retard its position) and use the generated power to temporarily increase the power to the lagging rotor (to advance its position).

Notes:

600 RRPM/ 60 sec = 10 RPS; times 12 coils [360 electrical degree] = 120 electrical rotations per second.

The rate and the strength of the power might be determined by the amount of azimuthual difference between the two rotors.

This would probably be a 3rd controller which had three modes for each motor; motor/coast/generator.

Thoughts: It may work in autorotative state but not in powered state. ????
