Overview:

An attempt to envision what would be optimal for a rotor blade that operates inside and outside of a reverse velocity environment.

Sketch:

Slots, in blue, will be in the skin of the airfoil

Description:

The objective is to have an airfoil with twin trailing edges. Both edges have slots that cause the temporary leading edge to behave aerodynamically as a normal leading edge and the temporary trailing edge to behave aerodynamically as a normal trailing edge.

Concerns;

The perturbation of the airflow through and over the slots plus the drag may very likely be excessive.
No doubt, many more.
