SETTING UP THE GYROBEE ROTOR SYSTEM
ROTOR HEAD SET-UP
Flight Control Range, Cherry picked from the above:
This is for a gyrocopter that flies with its disk tipped back
- Roll:
RT says "I would strive to try to get the 20 degree total range."
- Rear Stick/Head Limit:
RT says "20 degrees back with the mast vertical."
- Forward Head/Stick Limit:
RT says "it is possible that the forward-limit of head travel could stop at the +4-5 degree point without a problem."
RIGGING YOUR BLADES
Stringing Your Blades:
RT says "The bolt holes on most blade straps are just slightly oversize, so when the straps are bolted to the bar (finger-tight) you can adjust blade alignment until they are in-string."

Hub Height Dimensions:
Teetering Hinge Elevation(Datum): 0"
- Teeter stand - from teetering axis to base; 2.625"
- Teetering block - from teetering axis to base; 1.5". My assumption ; If hub-bar is .75" thick then the undersling is 1.875"
- Bearing Retainer Plate: 0.250"
- Main Housing: 1.250"
- 1/2 Torque Bar: 0.5625"
Lateral Hinge Elevation:
Longitudinal Hinge Elevation:
Undersling:

Scaling Calculations Based on Gyrobee:
Scaling: The twin rotor Electrotor is to have similar specifications to that of the Gyrobee therefore each of the two rotors will be approximately half the size of that on the Gyrobee. The multiplier for Gyrobee dimentions will be .5 * √3 = 0.794
- The teetering height (to center of hub-bar) for the Electrotor should be 1.875 * 0.794 = 1.489"
I suspect. Perhaps it should be closer to that of the SynchroLite because this is a powered rotor and it will be turning at a faster speed than the gyrocopter.
The vertical dimension from teetering axis to pitch axis is; 2.625 + 0.25 + 1.25 + 0.25 + 0.625 = 5.0". Therefore the Electrotor's should be; 5.0" * 0.794 = 3.97"
The vertical dimension from pitch axis to roll axis looks like 1.5". Therefore the Electrotor's should be; 1.5 * 0.794 = 1.191"
