Item 1526

DESIGN: Electrotor-SloMo - Rotorhead - Hub-B - Overview & Layout

Overview:

Layout Drawing:

No. Large Diameter Mast ~ For drawing see 1526.jpg

No. Small Diameter Mast w/ Tapered Pin Blade Attachment ~ For drawing see 1526_TaperPin.jpg

This allows for the blade bearings to be mounted above the motor and tapered pins be used to attach the blades.

An inner extension on the laminated can be used to provide additional cooling.

For synchronization consider using Magnetic Coupling 1976 or 1947 with 4 span gears, since both le space for a high gimbal on Intermeshing.

No. Small Diameter Mast w/ Flange Bolted Blade Attachment ~ For drawing see 1526_FlangeAttach.jpg

No. Small Diameter Mast w/ Flange Bolted Blade Attachment ~ Alternative ~ For drawing see 1526_FlangeAttach_Too.jpg

Yes. Medium Diameter Mast w/ Tapered Pin Blade Attachment ~ 1900.dc

This is the current one. It is on 1900.dc not on 1526 ++++.dc

The blade will be 1955.html #6 with 1961.html or 2046.html root block.

Notes:

Pitch Shaft: So far just a rough overview.

Lower Disk:

    1. Assure that the motor's rotor does not become elliptical during large out-of-plane cyclical loading by the aero-rotor, since this would effect the airgap clearances about the circumference.
    2. Retain the lower rotor-to-rotor bushing (bearing).
    3. Possibly have vanes on its inner diameter which cause an axial flow of air through the coils.

Torque-Pitch Arm:
