Overview:

An intermeshing or Interleaving helicopter where both rotors have there own electric motor and no gear box(es).

Details:

Both electric motors are basically servo motors with encoders. (Similar to CNC machine drives)

The encoders assure that the two rotors are always in syncronization.

There is total double or triple redundancy throughout the drive systems.

The flight controls are all electrical (or fly-by-light) with double or triple redundancy.

The craft might still fly on only two of the three drive systems.
