The cable is held tight whereas this inner tip holder is relocated for each layer
The cure must be completed and ground down, at least at the tip end. before this tip holder is cut off and advanced toward the tip. THIS INVOLVES MORE STEPS AND DELAYS THE PROCESS. - NOT TO GOOD.
Alternative B and C;
- These are basically the same.
- The advantage of these two over A is that the cure of all inner layers can be done at one time.
- The wastage of carbon thread is minimal.
- The divider (yellow) must be a tape that cane be totally removed so that the outer layers can be bonded to these inner layers.
