June 2, 2005 Notes that may replace or augment the ones below. ~ Perhaps the wrap of the tow around the pins should remain as part of the spar. They could be drilled out for other pins to lock the pitch holder in place.

This root holder must interlock with the mandrel to provide rotation to the mandrel.

Consider substituting a circular plate with mounting holes for attaching root end holders. This will provide exact positioning and will take the tension along the X-axis better.
