DESIGN: UniCopter ~ Fuselage - Body - Bulkhead

The SynchroLite is to be 28" wide and the Lycoming 320 engine is 33.4" wide. Should not the Unicopter be perhaps 30" wide?. In fact the Mini 500 is too wide at 33.5" wide, at all locations around the door frame.

Seriously consider making the fuselage 30" wide and 1" or 2" more head room.

Consider Fiberfrax (ceramic fiber insulation).

Note:

The oval at the top could be wider for more lateral headroom if required.

Part of the space mentioned in the above line might be used for a pocket for the vibration damper between the fuselage and the drive frame. This will result in an aerodynamic faring of the top corners of the canopy into the air intakes.

Going with 15º slope on seat back. This is currently is the same angle as the engine.

Perhaps all controls and cables between engine compartment and cockpit pass under the seat and under a false floor.

Perhaps make the lower center of the bulkhead deeper for the gascolator and aerodynamics.
