Item 1190

MAKE: Dragonfly ~ Rotor - Hub - Yoke - Assembly

Picture of Mockup:

Drawing:

Bill of Material 1190

Note:

Consider placing one larger angular contact bearing at the mast end of the yoke. Have the pitch bearings installed by lowering them down the lead/lag opening and held against centrifugal force by an bore reduction in the casting, not by a nut. Retaining rings can then be used for the other side of the deep groove bearing and for outer side of the deep groove radial bearing.

This is what the new drawing incorporates.

Why does the lag bushing require a retainer? Won't the flapping axle hold it in location? This will reduce the elevation.
