Item 1155

DESIGN: Dragonfly ~ Power Train - Reduction - Initial - X-tube

This while page must be checked and completed

Drawing:

xxx

Note:

The torque in the X-shaft is 115 ft-lb.

Use the same factor as used in connections with standard transmission design, namely, 4 to 4.5 on torsional operating loads. An additional factor of 1.5 should be used in the design of the X-shafting and similar parts. [Source ~ MDD p.77]
