Rough Thoughts:
Consider driving a small plunger type pump with flap closures on the incoming and outgoing port. The plunger would be driven from the rotation of the X-shaft or the overrunning clutch holder tube.
The overrunning clutch holder tube could have two or more lobes on it.
Using the overrunning clutch holder tube to drive the pump may have an advantage in that if the engine stops the pump will stop. This will cause the collective to go down faster, and perhaps further.

The inclusion of a rotor governor should assure that it is impossible for the rotor to overspeed and this might allow for a reduced Life Load Factor resulting from centrifugal force. I.e. the basic weight of the craft can be reduced while the
'Safety Weight' is increased.![]()
