Notes:
This method is preferred over the gimbal.
The radius of the SynchroLite's pitch link arm is 2.25". Forgetting the incoming rods, for a moment, the radius of the pitch links on the Dragonfly could theoretically be 2/3 * 2.25 = 1.5". They are currently designed in at 1.875"; Using carbon tubes over male rod ends for compression strength in the tubes.
The two sentences below are SynchroLite comments ~ to be modified or removed.
Currently the uniball is mounted on the rotating mast and the stationary lower portion of the swashplate is mounted outside the ball. The uniball can rotate or not - its choice. Later look into mounting the uniball on a non-rotating inner of outer tube.
Perhaps, just let the uniball ride up and down on the rotating mast on oilite bushings.
