DESIGN: SynchroLite ~ Rotor - Hub - 2-blade Teetering w/ Control Power - Offset Bi-hinged

Overview:

A 2-blade rotor will cause vibration when the cyclic stick is moved off the center position. See; DESIGN: SynchroLite ~ Rotor - Disk - Lift Distribution re: Vibration. Look into the drive train mounting idea.

What about using Delta3 by control system geometry? The Lead-flap coupling?

Delta3 may not even be used.

Notes:

If standard SynchroLite blades are used, the 4" offset will make the disk diameter 8" greater. Any objections?

With a 4" offset and the same V angle of 25º, the stagger can be reduced by 2.7" to give the same blade to rotor clearance as the SynchroLite. This was determined from drawing 0442

Use large tip weights (1 lb.), to give stability, better RRPM control, and more energy for flare during autorotation. The hub offset should allow for good control and response, even with relatively large tip weights.
