Durability increase as a result of internal gearing (Hamilton p. D-4); 3:1 ratio is factor of 2.0; 4:1 ratio is a factor of 1.66. The actual ratio is 3.52 so the factor will be 1.83. 7 hp * 1.83 = 12.81hp. Safety Factor - Durability = 4 * 12.81 = 51.24. 51.24 / 29.3 = 1.75.
This is between the planet and ring not planet and sun - I would think.Safety Factor - Durability = 4 * 7.0 = 28.0; 28.0 / 29.3 = 0.96
Safety Factor - Strength = 4 * 11.3 = 45.2; 45.2 / 29.3 = 1.54
