Strands of carbon tow will run down the full length of the trailing edge of the blade, wrap around the Drag Mount Grommet and run back to the blade tip. The strands will be located between the inner upper and lower skin. These strands will be forced into the "wedge" of the upper and lower skins by the pressure of the internal air bag.

There will also be layers of bi-directional carbon, in addition to the skin layers, between this grommet and the blade root ring and spar.
