Notes:
Calculations are from Microsoft Access forms [Helicopter Specification] & [Flight - Hovering].
Based on: Thrust = gross weight = 550 lbs; Effective disk area of 338.44; Rotor diameter of 17' 4"; Twist of 0.667 degrees per foot.
If the calculations below were for 1 disk only i.e. Based on a thrust of 550/2 = 275 lbs; an actual disk area of 235.93 sq-ft and the same rotor diameter then the loading at blade element 7 would be 1.17 lb/ft2.
The figures below should be considered a lateral side view looking down the Y-axis.
