Overview:
This page is just to record rough and preliminary thoughts related to possible changes to the SynchroLite helicopter, to make it lighter, simpler and cheaper. It entails the combining the synchro gearing and the secondary gearing(s).
The drawing below depicts one engine only, the Hirth 2706. The disadvantages of one engine are lower safety and greater vibration with unopposed cylinders.

Notes:
Many of these ideas have come from the UniCopter.
There is only one engine. It is located high.
The synchro gearbox and the two secondary planetary reductions nave been replaced by the UniCopter type X-over reduction and synchronization unit.
The bell crank should be moved further forward.
The fuel tank will be located beneith the engine.
The flight controls will remain basically as before.
The SynchroLite's or Unucopter's body is used; with modifications.
